Amity Centre for AI and Law is presenting its mega event “BRAINWAVE 2.0” on 29th, February 2024. It is an inter-college event for law students in form of a premier brainstorming session on litigation business Ideas where participants can present ideas solo or in teams on themes like legal tech, litigation firm, independent practice, and legal corporate consulting on ADR, Civil law, constitutional law, etc. The event’s objective is to prepare law students for the legal world and give them a chance to explore different litigation business ideas. Ideas can pertain to ADR, Civil law or constitutional law, etc.
Entries are open for students from all UGC-recognised universities.
(Paid accommodation can be provided to the participants from other states)
This is the ultimate competition that enables individuals to think outside the box, challenge their own assumptions and develop their critical thinking skills.
The contest will comprise 2 rounds which will be as follows:
Round 1
Round 1 will start with an icebreaker, where the teams will introduce themselves and their theme. Teams will be allowed to speak for 5-8 minutes on their respective themes and judges shall capture those ideas neutrally and shall choose the top 5 high scorers for the next round.
Themes for Round 1:
• Legal tech,
• Litigation firm
• Independent practice in the context of Corporate Social Responsibility
• Legal corporate consulting
Round 2
The next round is for the top 5 high scorers in the previous round. They will be tested on the following nuances:
- Define the target audience
- Protecting key employees
- Customer relationships
- Confidential business information
- Market opportunity market size and
- Business model clarity and viability
They will get another 5-8 minutes to pitch their business idea to the judges. Judges shall select the Winners and 1st and 2nd runners-ups.
Prizes for Winners:
Winner – Cash prize: ₹45,000 + Internship opportunities and certificate.
Registration fee: ₹500 for an individual & ₹1000 for a team (upto 4)
Eligibility: Open to all Undergraduate students and Graduates.
(Certificates to all the participants according to the round they qualify up to)
Venue: I2 Block Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh (Students from other institutions will be allowed to enter from Gate 1)
