The world has suffered very drastically in the covid pandemic period, globally economic sector has collapsed down, and most people are jobless & also fighting for food& shelter.
During that period, India planned to convert the pandemic period into an opportunity period having aims to make a country and all its citizens independent and self-reliant in all sense.
On May 2, 2020, pm Narendra Modi announces the campaign as Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan (self-reliant India movement) and also announces a special economic package of rs.20 Lakhs Crores to increase employment and start-up opportunities as well as to fight in the covid-19 pandemic period.
The government took several reforms such as supply chain reform for agriculture, rational tax systems, simple and clear law, capable human resource, and strong financial systems.
PM Modi also launched the “Make in India” campaign program after he came in power in 2014. The main aim is to increase secondary sector activities like to increase manufacturing hub by encouraging both multinational as well as domestic companies to manufacture their products within the country.
2019 pandemic period was enormously collapsing down the people skills and divert people’s mind to interact with more & more technology, using of technology in this period has great impact, people were making social distancing in shopping while using shopping sites for taking precautions people were not going gym, they are doing exercise at home with having a great exercise site like HRX.
Social distance distanced the social from each other lives, using of technology, means improving manufacturing sector too, during 2019 pandemic period, industrialist has shifted their technique from Labour-Intensive to Capital-Intensive so that there will be proper hygiene maintenance with taking proper covid precautions as well as having efficient and effective result.
Technology has a great impact on modern society; more and more people are taking of using technology for efficient and effective working conditions. That’s by people also become independent on their work, the technology also gave bad effect to laborers, more and more uses of machines signifies dropping of laborers intensive which means people are moving fast and forward technology for efficient and effective utilization of work.
This Atma Nirbhar Abhiyan aims to increase the Rural Industry as well as the Agriculture sector by the setting of the Special Economic Zone (Farm Product Association). While having the product of goods in own country, can boost the economic sector as well as Technology sector. India is heavily dependent on China for Mobile Phones, Electronic Goods, and Pharmaceuticals resulting in a massive trade deficit. To improve this situation, PM Narendra Modi has implemented this self-reliant India campaign plan, for which country people will be self-dependant using their resources.
Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan has outlined 5 major pillars namely, economic infrastructure, system, vibrant demography, and demand.
Economy: We the people of India need an economy that doesn’t bring incremental change but makes quantum jumps.
Infrastructure: We the people of India need an Infrastructure that will become the identity of modern India.
System: We the people of India need a system that is no longer based on the rules and rituals of the past but one that actualizes the dream of the 21st century, needs to be technology-based.
Democracy: We the people of India, vibrant demography in our strength it is the source of energy for our efforts to make India self-reliant.
India is a country with having potential natural resources and skillful human resources, with the viewpoint of PM Modi, skills, creativity can enhance to touch new heights. One has to need to strengthen skill development for a self-reliant India for improving our competency. All these 5 major pillars can make India’s people independent, more and more opportunities will grasp by people so that the identity of our country will become good.
