The Amikus Qriae is also registered under Indian Partnership Act 1932 and Ministry of MSME, Government of India and is also a ISO 9001: 2015 organization.

About The Speaker:-
Being a practising/litigating lawyer and having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 2003 while carrying forward the legacy of 3 generations, Anuj possesses a rare combination of commercial as well as legal background. He was called to the Bar in August 2004 after having obtained his degree in Law from Delhi University in the same year. Anuj is a commerce graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi University after having secured top rank in his batch at St. Xavier’s School, Delhi.
Having obtained vast experience in handling various kinds of litigation before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, Commissions, Forums, Boards and Tribunals [including National & various State Consumer Commissions/Forums, Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), TDSAT, DRT, COMPAT, CCI, CESTAT, Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (ATE), CLB, National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), NCLAT, etc.] he was nominated as Additional Standing Counsel (post equivalent to ‘Additional Advocate General’ in States) for the Government of Delhi before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi in May 2015, being the youngest then to achieve the feat at the age of 34 years. Till date he has represented the interests of his various client/s, both individuals and organisations, in over 3,000 cases.
Amongst several other cases, in which he is representing his clients’ interests, he has also represented in the past or is currently representing:Delhi Police in a PIL, concerning women and child safety in Delhi, instituted by the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi on its own motion as an aftermath of the Nirbhaya incident; and
Chief Secretary, Delhi through Dept. of Health & Family Welfare, GNCTD in a PIL seeking review of preparations made by Delhi Govt. to tackle the Covid-crisis in Delhi, instituted by the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi on its own motion in May 2020.
Delhi Police in the matter involving revamping of Chandni-Chowk;
Govt. of India through Ministry of Commerce involving Basmati-trade dispute initiated by Pakistan before Delhi High Court;
Dept. of Health, GNCTD to ensure second doze of Covaxin.
Anuj has served as a distinguished panel counsel for the Government of India from Sep’08 till Dec’ 18 and thus achieved a unique feat of representing different political regimes governed by all major political parties including UPA, NDA and AAP.
Represented/advised several corporate-firms, banks and government departments, the most esteemed ones being Bharti Airtel; Delhi Police (DP); Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA); Economic Offences Wing (EOW); Ministry of Commerce; Ministry of Home (MHA), Govt. of India; National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA); North Delhi Power Limited (NDPL); Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC); Punjab National Bank (PNB), Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC), etc. He is also empanelled with Shipping Corporation of India (SCIL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL) flagship Public Sector Undertakings of the Govt. of India.
Obtained his training as a Mediator from Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution, Pepperdine University, California, USA and empanelled as a Mediator with Delhi High Court Mediation Centre viz. ‘Samadhan’ upon selection by a panel of Hon’ble judges of Delhi High Court.
Having been empanelled as an Arbitrator with the Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) and having been appointed as an Arbitrator by the Hon’ble Delhi High Court on various occasions, he is equipped to resolve a variety of legal issues being an expert in the ‘Alternate Disputes Resolution (ADR)’ as he understands, appreciates and promotes the importance of speedy resolution of disputes between the contesting parties.
He imparts trainings in ‘Mediation’ to judicial officers, lawyers and law students and conducts trainings/ talks on the issues relating to ‘Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013’ to the corporate-clients, lawyers and law students all across the country.
