Ms. Aishwarya Bhati is the Senior Advocate & Additional Solicitor General of India. She is the first woman advocate from Rajasthan designated as a Senior Advocate by the Supreme Court. She hails from Jodhpur and completed her LLB and LLM from Jodhpur University post which she relocated to Delhi permanently, to start her practice at the Apex Court. She successfully cleared the Advocate-on-Record (AOR) exam in 2006 and established herself as one of the leading counsels in the Supreme Court. Ms. Bhati in her illustrious career of over two decades has been highly active in the Bar elections and has been elected twice as Secretary of the prestigious Supreme Court Bar Association, in 2013 and 2014. She was designated as a Senior Advocate by the Supreme Court in March 2019 post which she was appointed as the Additional Solicitor General in June 2020, a position she currently holds. Some of the cases of national importance Ms. Bhati has been associated with include the Aadhar case, equal rights for women officers in the Air Force, and Rights of women in the short service commission to name a few.
