About the E-Conference:
The Constitution of India has enshrined several provisions which directly or indirectly endeavour to uproot the disastrous effects of child labour. Development of children and their education is considered as the most progressive yardstick to assess the real prosperity of a nation. A nation which thrives to secure all the basic needs of its children is considered more visionary than most of the industrialised nations. There are severe ramifications of child labour, both at psychological and physical levels. On 12 June 2021, the world is going to celebrate the world day against child labour. This year, the theme for the day has been fixed as “act now to end child labour”. This e-conference seeks to act as an eye-opener for the incumbent students and reminder for all the stakeholders to step in and put in works for all-round development of children.
